If you are absent due to illness and missed a proba, don’t worry, you can find the latest newsletters on the HZ web page. You can also email the Hrvatska Zora Committee at any time with questions, suggestions or good ideas.

 

Vic Ethnofest

Kvalitetni will be performing at the Vic Ethnofest on Saturday the 3rd of June. It will be held in Sunshine at the Macedonian Centre which is at the 4th Avenue, Sunshine. All Kvalitetni and Orchestra members will need to be there by 7 pm.

 

Childrens International Festival
All Maleni and Pripremni members are performing at the Childrens International Festival which is held at the Melbourne Town Hall on 3rd of June from 1-6 pm. Parents are asked to bring their children on time and ensure that they follow our dress code rules:

Maleni and Pripremni girls; jiffies, white stockings or legins, make up bags, girls must have their hair in two platts, if hair not long enough a single braid. Boys: white socks and black shoes.
Note; Parents please ensure that all children are wearing white under garments.


Important Dates

There will be a proba on Tuesday the 13th of June instead of the day before.

On 19th June there will not be a proba for Maleni or for Pripremni.

On 26th June there will not be a proba for Maleni or for Pripremni.

 

Performance at the Catholic Homes for the Elderly

On 26th June(Monday Night) at 6:30 pm the Kvalitetni and Orkestar will perform at the Catholic Homes for the Elderly.

 

Fundraiser Bulbs

Fundraiser Bulbs will be handed out to everyone on Tuesday the 13th of June.

 

Proba Times
For Maleni & Pripremni starting time is 6:30pm,
For Kvalitetni the starting time is 8pm,
and Orkestra starts at 7pm.

Please arrive a bit earlier so we can start on time.

 

HZ to be hosts to 48 guests from KUD Gradici from Zagreb

Hrvatska Zora will be hosts to 48 members of the folkloric group KUD Gradici from Velika Gorica-Zagreb, who will be in Melbourne from 14 July to 21 July. We need 24 families to help in providing accommodation to our guests. Please let Berislav know if you can help.

Membership Fees
Another reminder that membership fees can be paid to Gloria Juresic (treasurer) and could anyone who has not yet paid please take care of it as soon as possible. Thanks.

 

The 5th International Children's Festival

Dear Friends,

 

 

The 5th International Children's Festival is nearing and is only two weeks away. We have finalised the details and will be awaiting you all on Saturday 3rd June 2006 by 1.00 pm. The program will be starting at 1.30 pm and your seating arrangement details will be given to you on the day.

 

 

As before, children taking part in the festival will have allocated seating together with their teachers. Parents may seat anywhere they like as long as it is not the allocated seats. As always it is a free-for-all festival. There are change rooms allocated for each group. The information regarding your group's seating, staging etc will be given to you when you come and register at the entrance to the Main Hall. Make sure that all the children stay till the end of the program as every participating children will go on stage to sing and dance all together and little gifts will be presented to them at the end of the festival. Please also ensure that all children have the festival booklet as their names are published in it.

 

Please also remember that smoking, bringing in food and drinks are not allowed in the Melbourne Town Hall
