Hrvatska Zora Members,
Annual General Meeting(AGM)- was held
on Monday the 19th March and the Committee to
lead Hrvatska Zora
through 2007 was elected. Congratulation to all newly elected members.
All
members were there to elect the new committee, so you know who they
are. See
our web page for the full list of names.
Easter Holidays – no “proba” on
Easter Monday the 9th of April. Happy Easter
everyone. After that
the next date when there is no “proba” will be
Monday the 23rd of
April. On all other dates there is proba as usual on Mondays.
Proba Times
For
Maleni & Pripremni starting time is 6:30pm, For Kvalitetni the
starting
time is 8pm, and Orkestra starts at 7pm.
Please arrive a few minutes earlier so we can start on
time. There is a
short 10 minute break during rehersals.
H Z Annual Function - Hrvatska Zora will be having their 14th
Anniversary Dance Function on Sunday the 29th of April, which is about
four weeks
away. The Function starts at 12:00 noon. The Sunshine Hall has been
booked.
Help will be needed on the day. If you can help out in any way please
let
Berislav or other committee members know. Start talking to family,
friends,
relatives etc about the Function and reserve tickets for your group.
Table
reservations can be made. Tickets will be selling for $25 each and it
includes
entry as well as a lunch. For juniors under 12 years the tickets are
$10 each
and it includes entry as well as a juniors meal. Each family is asked
to bring
a platter of cakes on the day to assist with our fundraising efforts.
Next Performances – Maleni and Pripremni will be performing
on Saturday 31st March at the St. Albans Dinamo
Function. It is
important to be at every “Proba” to prepare.
Also
Maleni, Pripremni, Kvalitetni and Orchestra will be performing on
Sunday the 29th of April at our Anniversary Function. Be at every
“proba” to prepare well.

If you have not
already bought the Hrvatska Zora 2007 Calendar then I would strongly
urge you
to buy yours soon. It is selling for $10.Talk to committee members for
more
information. A reminder that the calendar is a fundraiser for Hrvatska
Zora.

Hrvatska
Zora t-shirts(all
sizes) and 2004 Croatia Tour DVD’s are available for sale.
Pass the word to
anyone who is interested. Talk to committee members for more
information. See
Berislav or Natalie if you would like to
buy any of the items.
Hrvatska Zora Grant
The
Victorian Multicultural Commission
has given H Z a $1000 grant to assist in organizing our next Function
which
will be during the last Sunday of April. This is the first such grant
that we
have received from the Australian Government. All financial assistance
is
greatly appreciated and a thank you to Gloria for applying for the
grant.
